INSPIRE CHILDREN'S OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY SERVICES
Family-centred, strengths-based paediatric occupational therapy services for children aged 1 to 12 years, supporting a range of developmental needs, including Autism, ADHD, Developmental Coordination Disorder, sensory processing challenges, and developmental delay.
We provide services across Perth’s southern suburbs and Bunbury region, delivering supports in home, school, and community settings.

Hi, I’m Jijoe, and I graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy graduated in 2004. I have since worked across a variety of paediatric settings, including private practice, early intervention programs, disability services, autism service, special school, the Child Development Service in Perth, and the Children’s Development Team in the Northern Territory. This experience has contributed to my understanding of child development and broadened my knowledge of various assessments and intervention approaches. I have completed a Graduate Certificate in Autism Studies through Griffith University, which has further developed my knowledge of supporting children using evidence-based strategies and a neurodiversity-affirming approach.
My practice is guided by a family-centred and strength-based approach. I believe that by building on each child’s individual strengths, we can support their skill development and participation in everyday activities, in collaboration with the family.
I actively engage in continuing professional development activities to ensure my practice is informed by current evidence-based approaches. Some of the workshops and courses I have attended include trauma transformative practice with children, attachment and the sesnory integration process, introduction to DIR Floortime, interoception, paediatric perspective of the occupation of sleep and impact of motor learning for the child with Autism.

Funding
NDIS:
We provide services for self managed and plan managed NDIS participants.
Medicare:
Children may be able to receive rebate for upto 5 occupational therapy sessions per calendar year under the Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan. Please discuss eligibility with your child's GP.
Private:
We are able to offer occupational therapy services even if you do not have NDIS funding or a Medicare plan. Please contact us to discuss your child’s needs and private appointment fees.
